Access the template of a preconfigured import/export connector.
Import
The import functionality allows for a quick upload of large datasets into Workplace. By creating an import using aimport connector with import mappings, it is possible to specify in which data table the various data should be stored.
Default imports are availablto available to import masterdata when setting up an environment. This allows for quickly filling the environment with for exampelexample: contacts, properties, and areas.
Access the import connector via the import. By deafult we use filed in csv-format for our imports.

How the defaults imports work is explained in detail in the articles that describe how to set up a new Workplace environment. In general, imports can be accessed
Press the Import button on the startboard. Alternatively, it Imports can also be accessed via the navigation menu: configuration>importConfiguration>Import.
Open the import connector by clicking on the “reference”.
Download the template.
Fill out the template, convert it to a CSV file, and upload the import file to Workplace.

Export
Similarily to the import functionality, the export functionality allows the for a quick download of large datasets from Workplace. It is also possible to configure a periodical download export of data.
Access the export connector via the export button on the startboardstartBoard. Alternatively, it Exports can also be accessed via the navigation menu: configuration>exportConfiguration > Export.
Open the export connector by clicking on the “reference”.Click “Run” to trigger the export connector.
Automating an import or export
It is also possible to set up imports to be executed periodically from an FTP server.
Automated export can be set up to export date to: FTP servers and email.
