Waarom IP-whitelisting en -blacklisting toepassen?
IP-whitelisting en blacklisting is een eenvoudige manier om ervoor te zorgen dat alleen vertrouwde gebruikers toegang hebben tot Workplace. Meestal worden de IP-adressen van het bedrijfsnetwerk toegevoegd. Nadat dit is geconfigureerd, is inloggen alleen toegestaan vanaf de geconfigureerde IP-adressen.
Hoe configureer je het?
Klik op de tegel 'Clientinstellingen' op het beheerdersstartbord;
Open het tabblad 'Authenticatie';
Scroll naar beneden naar het tabblad 'IP-adres wit of zwarte lijst';
Klik op 'Nieuw'. Opmerking: na het whitelisten van één IP-adres worden ALLE andere IP-adressen direct geblokkeerd.;
De velden "IP-adres" en "Toegang" zijn verplicht. De andere velden zijn optioneel.
Een IP-verbinding verwijderen
Een IP-verbinding kan weer worden verwijderd door deze te openen en op het verwijder-symbool rechtsboven op de pagina te klikken.

General
By default, a user can log in with any IP address. Using IP whitelisting and blacklistingis a simple way to ensure only trusted users can access Workplace. Typically, the IP addresses of the clients company’s network are added and those of the implementation consultants/support. After configuring this, logging in is only allowed from the configured IP addresses.
Steps to configure
Click on the ‘Client settings’ tile on the admin startBoard;
Open the ‘Authentication’ tab
Scroll down to the ‘IP address white or black-listing tab;
Click on ‘New.’ to create a new IP connection.
The fields “IP address “ and “Access” are mandatory. The other fields are optional.

Be aware: after whitelisting (access = yes) one IP connection, ALL other IP addresses are blocked directly. This will be the case once one IP connection will be set to ‘Access = yes’. It is therefore also not functionally possible to use both (both access = yes and no in IP connections in the same tenant, as only with listed (access = yes) IP addresses will be accepted if one IP connection exists with 'Access = yes'. |

Je kunt de toegang voor specifieke servers toestaan of blokkeren. Als je de instelling leeg laat, geldt de white-/blacklisting voor alle servers. De instelling leeg laten is standaard. Beschikbare servers zijn productie, back-up, test en ontwikkeling.

Gebruiker

Geef een gebruiker op voor wie de verbindingsinstellingen gelden. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld gebruikt worden om een belangrijke gebruiker toegang te geven tot het systeem vanaf een thuisnetwerk.

Belangrijk: Raadpleeg eerst uw Workplace consultant om IP whitelisting in te schakelen. Het IP-adres van de kantoorlocatie van uw Workplace consultant moet worden gewhitelist. Anders kunnen de Workplace consultant en onze Customer Support afdeling niet inloggen op de klantomgeving in geval van bugs, vragen en wijzigingen. |
Toegang geweigerd aanmeldingsfout
Als een gebruiker probeert in te loggen vanaf een IP-adres dat niet op de witte of zwarte lijst staat, krijgt hij na een inlogpoging een foutmelding "Toegang geweigerd".

Operation mode | You can allow or block access for specific servers. When left empty, the white-/blacklisting applies to all servers. Leaving the setting empty is standard practice. Available servers are production, backup, test, and development. |

Important: when enabling IP whitelisting, please first consult your Workplace consultant. The IP address of your Workplace consultant’s office location needs to be whitelisted. Otherwise, the Workplace consultant and our Customer Support department will be unable to log in to the client environment in case of bugs, questions, and changes. |
Deleting an IP connection
An IP connection can be deleted again by opening it and clicking the delete symbol on the top right of the page.
Access denied login error
When a user tries to log in from an IP address that is not whitelisted or is blacklisted, they will get an “Access denied“ error after a login attempt.
