Configuration ON Tabs hardware

Hub – Gateway

Configuring the Hub will let you set up the Hub as a router, WIFI client, WIFI extender, or WIFI off. It will also let you choose between DHCP and Static IP for ethernet based connections.
Step 1. Check the firmware version
Step 1.1 Go to the trackio grafana platform
Step 1.2 Open router mamagement
Step 1.3 Locate the hub
Step 1.4 Check if the current firmware version is 1.25.02 or later
Step 2. Factory reset the hub with internet unplugged.
Caution! If the hub is connected to the internet it will reconfigure to the standard MCS configuration
Step 3. Join the hubs initial open Wi-Fi network (Tabs-xxxxxxx)
Step 4. Open the configuration html
Step 5. Follow the configuration steps of the configuration tool.

Motion sensor – PIR

There are 5 different parameters that effect the behaviour of a TrackNet motion sensor. Sensitivity, Blind time, pulse counter, window time, and filter type.
Each of these parameters can be altered by sending a downlink to the sensor from the trackio platform.
For calculating the downlink code use the latest version of the downlink encryption sheet.
For configuring multiple sensors at once use the latest version of the downlink configuration program.

Healthy home – Comfort

This sensor can not be configured.

Door & Window switch

Deploying sensors in Bohemian

Inquire the list of the sensors (Sensors ID) and import those into Bohemian https://studio.cobundu.com/app/bohemian.

You should use download/upload excel function of the bohemian with correct sensor ID, Sensor Model and organization.

  • Even if the Sensor ID on the TAB might have a different format (58A0-CB00-...or E8E1-E100-...), the upload in Studio tenant needs to happen with a dash separating every 2 characters (58-A0-CB-00-... or E8-E1-E1-00-...)

  • The Sensor ID is in HEX, so only 0-9; A-F characters are used. All letters are in CAPS.

Make sure all your sensors are deployed in Bohemian before you use them in your tenant.

Please be aware that only after the next data package is send, data for this sensor will be visible in your tenant. (This means that depending on time of upload to Bohemian and activity at the customer site, this can take a while.)

Deploying sensors in Studio

Provide the rooms template and floor plans to the customer.
A clear indication of the area where the sensors must/will be installed and additional column for the sensors IDs should be available on the sheet.
As described in the installation guide, note 8 last digits of the sensor number in “Sensor ID #” column.
Concerning the TAB sensor, be aware that there are 2 numbers on a sensor, the ID that starts with 58-A0-CB-00 is the one that we need during the configuration.

Even if the Sensor ID on the TAB might have a different format (58A0-CB00-...), the upload in Studio tenant needs to happen with a dash separating every 2 characters (58-A0-CB-00-..)
The Sensor ID is in HEX, so only 0-9; A-F characters are used. All letters are in CAPS.

After completing and receiving the template back it is advised to perform the quality assurance on the sensor IDs to localize the errors.
If all errors are removed, apply the sensor mapping in Studio > Sensor Devices.
You can manually add a record via

Or you can also download the Studio template for quick import.

Caution: When you choose your location, you will see that there are 2 options for the same location. Underneath the location, you see a location ID, it is important that you choose the location with the right location ID from MCS.

Motion sensor – PIR

Set the Channel to "pir" and Type to "Presence".

Healthy home – Comfort

Create 2 lines for every sensor, since we want to track data from both humidity and temperature sensor within the Comfort sensor:

  • Set the Channel to "humidity" and Type to "Humidity"
  • Set the Channel to "temperature" and Type to "Temperature"

Door & Window switch

Set the Channel to "open" and Type to "Pulse".
