General

When logging into Workplace Management the user is presented with a screen like the screenshot below.

image-20250102-093247.png

Depending on the users authorizations and which modules are activated, the user will see more or less options on the screen. In the following chapters, more information is described on the elements seen on the screen, when logging into Workplace Management.

The logo on the top left corner and the color scheme of Workplace Management can differ, if the customer has set up an own corporate identity with the companies logo and colors.

Navigation menu

The navigation menu is shown on the left side of the screen. The navigation menu shows activated modules the user is authorized to. Via the navigation menu, the user can select the desired module and a sub menu with options relevant to the module is presented. The user can now navigate to the desired option.

Via the “hamburger“ icon, the user can collapse or expand the navigation menu to created more room for the overviews shown on the startboard:

Depending on the users authorizations it is also possible that the user does not have a navigation menu. The user can only execute functions and consult overviews on the startboard. The startboard is described in the next chapter.

Startboard

On the middle/right part of the screen, the startboard is shown to every user logging into Workplace Management. Also the startboard only shows options relevant for the user and for which the user is authorized to.

On the startboard several elements can be visible, which are described below.

If a user has a important role for a module (a key user of a specific module or process), startboard tabs are available for every module the user is authorized to. A startboard tab is a startboard for a specific module with which the user can execute their day-to-day work from a single location.

When navigating to a startboard tab, options relevant for that module are shown. The startboard tab contains buttons for quickly creating a new object (for example a Visitor), searching objects and other relevant functions.

Next to the buttons, several overviews are also shown. These overviews help the user identify any work to be done and give the user updates on the progress of a process. For example, an overview of visitors still to arrive today, helps the reception identify if and who will still arrive at their location.

Each startboard tab has its own set of buttons and overviews, making the work of a (key) user more easy to have all options available on one location.

If a user prefers to always start in a specific startboard tab, instead of the 'General' tab when logging in, see Personal settings on how to do this.

Announcements can be used to inform users of a specific location, with specific authorizations and/or during a specific time period. One or more announcements can be enabled for a user. If the user has multiple announcements, the user can navigation through the announcements manually or wait until the announcements are automatically cycled (every +- 10 seconds).

On the startboard, several buttons and overviews can be shown, depending on the user authorizations. These buttons and overviews can be used to quickly create new objects or see relevant information.
