The User profile management dashboard for an easy way of managing your profiles.
A new single default Startboard which makes reconfiguring after a change in the user profile unnecessary. Released in March 2023
A new userprofile management dashboard has been introduced to help the administrator configuring and maintain the user profiles the client desires.
The dashboard consists of several overviews:
Available user profiles
This overview shows the available client user profiles with the most relevant information. If the profile has been assigned to users as a standard profile or as an additional profile, which groups are linked to the profile, etc. From this overview, it is also possible to directly create a new user profile via an easy-to-follow wizard.
Required groups to be assigned
This overview shows groups that have not yet been assigned to any of the userprofiles. These groups are required to assign to an userprofile and a user. If a group in this overview is not assigned, a process could stagnate, due to not finding a user to execute a particular workflow task. From this overview, groups can be directly assigned to all profiles or a selection of profiles.
Optional groups which can be assigned
This overview shows groups that can be assigned to an userprofile. No process will stagnate if the groups in this overview are not assigned. From this overview, groups can be directly assigned to all profiles or a selection of profiles.
All active groups
This overview shows all active user groups based on the modules that are being used. This overview is collapsed by default and can be expanded by clicking on the title. From this overview, selected groups can also be directly assigned to all profiles or a selection of profiles.
Previously, when creating a new userprofile via the step-by-step wizard, a startboard was automatically generated and default reports were automatically added based on the added groups to the profile. The consultant could then configure the startboard some more by rearranging, deleting or adding more startboard reports. A downside to this functionality is that if groups were added or removed later on, the Startboard needed reconfiguration by removing or adding the correct reports.
Next to the default Navigation menu, a new default Startboard has been introduced. This startboard contains dashboards (tabs) for all relevant processes and can be seen by the corresponding key user groups. Each dashboard contains one or more buttons for quick navigating, and also contains several overviews with the day-to-day workload for that specific process.
If a key user group is added to an userprofile, the user will immediately see the corresponding process dashboard. The userprofile does not need to be reconfigured. The same goes for removing a key user group from a profile. The corresponding tab will disappear for the user. No need for a consultant to reconfigure all startboards used in a changed userprofile.
