After reading this article, you’ll be able to:

  • Confirm your reservation through the Check-in functionality


To optimize space utilization and reduce ghost bookings (without the use of sensors), you might be asked to check-in via Workplace to confirm you reservation.

Check-in rules are configurable per area category, so in different locations you might encounter different types of check-in and of confirmation & grace period.

  • Passive check-in: Check-in by clicking on “check-in” on the GO web portal

  • Proof of presence: Check-in by scanning QR code at the specific location using GO on your mobile phone

Check-in process with GO

Through the GO web portal, you’ll be able to check in easily in just a couple of steps:

Passive check-in scenario

  1. In My Reservations overview or in Reservation Detail Screen, verify if check-in is required for the space you’ve booked

  2. Select the Check-in button

  3. You’re reservation is now confirmed!

Proof of presence scenario (only available on GO mobile)

  1. In My Reservations overview or in Reservation Detail Screen, verify if check-in is required for the space you’ve booked

  2. Select the Check-in button (the button has a QR code icon)

  3. Scan the QR code present in the reserved space

  4. You’re reservation is now confirmed!

Can I check-in at any time?

You can only check-in a few minutes before the start of the reservation.

If you are not yet within the confirmation period, it will not be possible to check-in. You’ll get a prompt message with some context.
