Prepare your environment to start using door count sensors
Install door count sensors
Verify correct installation of door count sensors
Tabs door count sensors are door and window counters. In Workplace, they will indicate how often a door/window was opened in the course of a day (counters are reset at midnight).

Prerequisite: Gateway
Door count sensors connect over the LoRa network. Make sure you install your LoRa hub before installing the sensors (check out LoRa Gateways / Hubs installation guides for more information).

Preparation
Check if locations apply to prerequisites
Installation is done as high up the door as possible
Indicate on the Prepare you sensor plan where to place all sensors, incl where the sensor placement deviates from this normal procedure
Sensor preparation
Place 2 pieces of adhesive tape on the side of the sensor on the side with tabs embossed.
Place 1 piece of adhesive tape on the flat side of the magnet.

Sensor installation
Based on the sensor plan, check where each sensor needs to be installed.
When installing the sensor and magnet make sure the door will not be blocked by either part.
Place the magnet on the door itself.
Place the sensor on the door frame with the LED facing towards the magnet.
Remove the clear battery strip to power up the sensor (red box 2).
During installation, it's important to clean the installation surface to remove dust particles which have a great influence on the strength of the adhesive bond. This can be done using a simple dust cloth.
Once the surface is clean, remove the adhesive tape cover and mount the sensor on the desired location.
Press the sensor firmly for 5 seconds against the installation surface
Repeat the last 3 steps for the magnet.
5. Indicate Sensor IDs on the floorplan or excel for mapping (last 8 digits of the number starting with 58- or E8-).
6. Send Sensor Plan with sensor placement indication to Spacewell (scan, picture) for mapping
Deploy sensors in Workplace Platform
On the back panel of the sensor, you will find the Device ID. Depending on the version of the sensor, the position of the device ID information on the sensor might differ a bit.

Tabs deurtelsensoren zijn deur- en raamtellers. In Workplace geven ze aan hoe vaak een deur/raam geopend is in de loop van een dag (tellers worden om middernacht gereset).

Vereiste: Gateway
Deurtelsensoren maken verbinding via het LoRa-netwerk. Zorg ervoor dat je je LoRa hub installeert voordat je de sensoren installeert (kijk op LoRa Gateways, Hubs installation guides voor meer informatie).

Sensor voorbereiden
Plaats 2 stukjes plakband op de zijkant van de sensor aan de kant met de lipjes in reliëf.
Plaats 1 stuk plakband op de platte kant van de magneet.

Installatie van de sensor
Controleer op basis van het sensorplan waar elke sensor moet worden geïnstalleerd.
Zorg er bij het installeren van de sensor en de magneet voor dat de deur door geen van beide onderdelen geblokkeerd wordt.
Plaats de magneet op de deur zelf.
Plaats de sensor op het deurkozijn met de LED naar de magneet gericht.
Verwijder de doorzichtige batterijstrip om de sensor in te schakelen (rood vakje 2).
Tijdens de installatie is het belangrijk om reinig het installatieoppervlak om stofdeeltjes te verwijderen die een grote invloed hebben op de sterkte van de lijmverbinding. Dit kan worden gedaan met een eenvoudige stofdoek.
Zodra het oppervlak schoon is, verwijder de plakbandgroefr en monteer de sensor op de gewenste locatie.
Druk de sensor gedurende 5 seconden stevig tegen het installatieoppervlak.
Herhaal de laatste 3 stappen voor de magneet.
5. Geef de sensor-ID's aan op de plattegrond of in excel voor mapping (laatste 8 cijfers van het nummer beginnend met 58- of E8-).
6. Stuur Sensorplan met sensorplaatsingsindicatie naar Spacewell (scan, foto) voor kartering
Sensoren inzetten in het Workplace Platform
Op het achterpaneel van de sensor vind je de apparaat-ID. Afhankelijk van de versie van de sensor kan de positie van de apparaat-ID-informatie op de sensor iets verschillen.
Wanneer de sensorsticker Device ID in het formaat 58A0-CB00-0010-XXXX of E8E1-E100-010C-XXXX vermeldt: voeg streepjes toe na elke 2 tekens in Studio (om 58-A0-CB-00-00-10-XX-XX resp E8-E1-E1-00-01-0C-XX-XX te verkrijgen).
Please be aware that only after the next data package is send, data for this sensor will be visible in your environment. (This means that depending on time of upload to Studio and activity at the customer site, this can take a while.)
Add New DeviceHoud er rekening mee dat pas nadat het volgende gegevenspakket is verzonden, gegevens voor deze sensor zichtbaar zullen zijn in uw omgeving. (Dit betekent dat dit, afhankelijk van het tijdstip van uploaden naar Studio en activiteit bij de klant, even kan duren).

Select the location, where you can manually add a sensor via "Add New Device"
Manually add device through location > devices > new: location is filled in.
Selecteer de locatie waar u handmatig een sensor kunt toevoegen via "Nieuw apparaat toevoegen".

Selecteer Type apparaat "TrackNet Door&Window v1.3". This will automatically link the device channel.Enter Device ID as serial-number with all capitals and including the dashes. Ga naar Apparaat-ID als serienummer met alle hoofdletters en inclusief de streepjes. Enter a meaningful Device Name (eg Voer een zinvolle Naam apparaat (bijvoorbeeld customer_floor number_area).
Select a Location from the location tree if this is already known (automatically filled in if location was selected before adding new device).
Linked Locations is not relevant for this kind of sensor.
Selecteer een Locatie uit de locatiestructuur als deze al bekend is (automatisch ingevuld als locatie werd geselecteerd voordat nieuw apparaat werd toegevoegd).
Gelinkte locaties is niet relevant voor dit soort sensor.
Door het juiste apparaattype "TrackNet Door&Window v1.3" should automatically set the Channel to te selecteren, wordt het kanaal automatisch ingesteld op "open" and Type to "Pulse" (see Advanceden het type op "Puls" (zie Geavanceerd).

Quality Assurance
On the live floorplans (for exampleKwaliteit
Op de live plattegronden (bijvoorbeeld in touchpoints Workplace web (Go) and en The Workplace App), you should see count adding up each time the door is opened, zou je moeten zien dat het aantal elke keer dat de deur wordt geopend, wordt opgeteld. In Workplace back-end Studio’s Studio's Sensor Management, you should see values zou je waarden 0+1+0+1 coming in.For Live Floorplan and Dashboards, only transition from 0 to 1 is counted. This means only door opening is countedmoeten zien binnenkomen.
Voor live plattegronden en dashboards wordt alleen de overgang van 0 naar 1 geteld. Dit betekent dat alleen deur opening wordt geteld.
Remember that in Studio, you might/should also see values from the sensor heartbeat coming in. Don't mistake these for actual data (heartbeat would be sending 1+1+1 as values; whereas real data would be Onthoud dat je in Studio ook waarden van de hartslag van de sensor zou kunnen/moeten zien binnenkomen. Verwar deze niet met werkelijke gegevens (een hartslag zou 1+1+1 als waarden verzenden, terwijl echte gegevens 0+1+0+1 zouden zijn...).
