- Connect the Kerlink to your laptop with an ethernet cable
- Open the network settings of your computer (right click on wifi icon)
- Go to "change adapter options"
- Right click on "WIFI" > select "Properties"
- Select tab "Share" and tick the first box (other network users can use your wifi connection)
- Specify which internet port/ethernet port you want to share the wifi network to
- Open Kerlink platform (Depending on the gateway model, you have to visit another URL; see above); there you can see the IP address
- If you don't have Putty yet, make sure to install
- Copy paste the IP address that is mentioned on the console
- Confirm you want to access the device
- Enter "root"
- Enter password = "pdmk-XXXX" that you get from the Cobundu SPOC (XXXX being the last 6 digits from the Board ID that are written on the device; this password is case sensitive)
- Enter "klk_apps_config --activate-cpf --lns-server spacewell.eu1.cloud.thethings.industries --lns-dport 1700 --lns-uport 1700" (copy paste does not work; but right click in putty acts like paste)
- Enter "reboot" in putty for the actions to be committed. The Gateway will restart.
- Make sure to disable sharing your network in your computer's network settings after your work is done
