Sensative Strips are door and window counters. In Workplace, they will indicate how often a door/window was opened in the course of a day (counters are reset at midnight).

Sensative Strips zijn deur- en raamtellers. In Workplace geven ze aan hoe vaak een deur/raam in de loop van een dag is geopend (de tellers worden om middernacht gereset).

Make sure you have enough space (3.5mm) between the door and the door frame to install the sensor.
PrerequisiteZorg ervoor dat je genoeg ruimte (3,5 mm) hebt tussen de deur en het deurkozijn om de sensor te installeren.
Vereiste: Gateway
Sensative Strips connect over the LoRa network. Make sure you install your LoRa hub before installing the sensors (check out LoRa Gateways / Hubs installation guides for more information).
Sensor activation
Per strip, 2 magnets are delivered: 1 for activation (round; compare to the plastic strip on tabs sensors), 1 for operational actions (rectangle). In other words, strips comes in "transport mode": when both of the magnets are attached, the device is idle.
When removing the magnets for the first time, the device will automatically send a join request to the LoRa-hub.
The range is shorter than standard LoRa, due to the smaller antenna and narrow openings in which the sensor is used. The range is more likely to be close to a good Wi-Fi network.

Activering van de sensor
Per strip worden 2 magneten geleverd: 1 voor activering en 1 voor operationele acties. Met andere woorden, strips worden geleverd in "transportmodus": als beide magneten zijn bevestigd, is het apparaat inactief.
Manually add device through location > devices > new: location is filled in.
Select Device Type "SensativeStrips Door Pulse". This will automatically link the device channel (eg door pulse for Sensative Strip devices).
Enter Device ID as serial-number with all capitals and including the dashes (formatWanneer je de magneten voor de eerste keer verwijdert, stuurt het apparaat automatisch een toetredingsverzoek naar de LoRa-hub.
Het bereik is korter dan standaard LoRa, vanwege de kleinere antenne en smalle openingen waarin de sensor wordt gebruikt. Het bereik is waarschijnlijker in de buurt van een goed Wi-Fi-netwerk.
Aantal sensoren per hub is irrelevant (500 - 1000 per hub)
If you have removed the magnets (eg before the hub is installed), and you need to manually join the device, take one of the magnets and move it to the round edge (Magnet sensor 2) of the Strip 3 times (3 green LED blinks at the Sensative logo). This will send a join request to the server:
One long green LED blink signals the device has been successfully joined to the server
5 red blinks means the device failed to join to the network

Once the sensors are installed, it’s not possible to remove them without damaging the sensor. So it is recommended to deploy the sensor in Workplace and see data come in, prior to installation. |
Sensor installation
Tape the sensative strip to either the door or the door frame.

Best practice is to tape it on the side where the door opens. Taping it to the back of the door (close to the joints) would require the door to open fully for the sensor to be triggered. |
The rectangle magnet needs to be placed on the door frame and is to be on the same level as the sensative logo (see image)
Your devices key information, such as Sensor ID (= serial-number with all capitals and -) and serial number can be found in the package on a barcode.

Als de sensoren eenmaal zijn geïnstalleerd, is het niet mogelijk om ze te verwijderen zonder de sensor te beschadigen. Zodat het aan te raden is om de sensor in Workplace te implementeren en de gegevens binnen te zien komen, voorafgaand aan de installatie. |
Installatie van de sensor
Plak de sensorische strip op de deur of het deurkozijn.

Het beste is om het vast te plakken aan de kant waar de deur opengaat. Als je het aan de achterkant van de deur plakt (dicht bij de scharnieren), moet de deur helemaal opengaan om de sensor te activeren. |
De rechthoekige magneet moet op het deurkozijn worden geplaatst en op dezelfde hoogte als het sensitieve logo (zie afbeelding).
De belangrijkste informatie van je apparaat, zoals sensor ID (serienummer met allemaal hoofdletters en -, vermeld als "Dev EUI") en serienummer, vind je in de verpakking op een barcode.

Sensoren inzetten in Workplace Platform

Please be aware that only after the next data package is send, data for this sensor will be visible in your tenant. (This means that depending on time of upload to Studio and activity at the customer site, this can take a while.)

Nieuw apparaat toevoegen in Workplace back-end Studio
Go to your environment Ga naar je omgeving (https://studio.cobundu.com ) and en log in
Select the location, where you can manually add a sensor via "Add New Device"
Selecteer de locatie waar u handmatig een sensor kunt toevoegen via "Nieuw apparaat toevoegen".
Handmatig apparaat toevoegen via locatie > apparaten > nieuw: locatie is ingevuld.
Selecteer Type apparaat "SensativeStrips Deurpuls". Hierdoor wordt het apparaatkanaal automatisch gekoppeld (bijvoorbeeld deurpuls voor Sensative Strip-apparaten).
Ga naar Apparaat-ID als serienummer met alle hoofdletters en inclusief de streepjes (formaat 70-B3-D5-2C-00-XX-XX-XX).
Enter a meaningful Device Name (eg Voer een zinvolle Naam apparaat (bijvoorbeeld customer_floor number_area).
Select a Location from the location tree if this is already known (automatically filled in if location was selected before adding new device).
Linked Locations is not relevant for this kind of sensor.
Selecteer een Locatie uit de locatiestructuur als deze al bekend is (automatisch ingevuld als locatie werd geselecteerd voordat nieuw apparaat werd toegevoegd).
Gelinkte locaties is niet relevant voor dit soort sensor.
Door het juiste Apparaattype "Sensative Strip" te selecteren, wordt het Kanaal automatisch ingesteld op "deur" en het Type op "Puls" (zie Geavanceerd).

In order to keep control, for example when the counter is reset, Workplace does not accept counter values/only works with pulses and calculates counter values based on this information. Workplace resets the own counter at midnight. |

Remember that in Studio, you might/should also see values from the sensor heartbeat coming in. Don't mistake these for actual data (heartbeat would be sending 1+1+1 as values; whereas real data would be Onthoud dat je in Studio ook waarden van de hartslag van de sensor zou kunnen/moeten zien binnenkomen.
