Interpret the Utilization Live View
What is “View by” on a live data floor plan?
Toggle between different Space or Comfort data views, that are relevant to your floor. Specific views are only available if data is available.
Utilization view
To obtain utilization data, a sensor like VergeSense or Pointgrab needs to be configured, or push utilization data to Workplace using our Generic Endpoint, see External Data Sources.
Depending on the type of sensor installed and the mode it’s configured on, Utilization View will show a value or just give an indication of occupancy:
1. If no headcount or traffic sensor is configured:
Utilization view will show the same data as View By Space Occupancy and indicate if the location is occupied or not (legend “available” vs “occupied”)
2. When a headcount sensor is configured: Headcount number is visualized in the Utilization view, otherwise showing same data as View By Space Occupancy (legend “available” vs “occupied”)
3. When a traffic sensor is configured: the number visualized in the Utilization view is the calculated difference between the traffic IN and OUT values. This number indicates how many people are still inside the location.

4. When Indirect Utilization with Motion sensors is configured*: the calculated utilization number is visualized in the Utilization view, otherwise showing same data as View By Space Occupancy (legend “available” vs “occupied”)

FAQ
Although (footfall) data is available for a location, I’m not seeing any data in the Utilization view?
If footfall data does not come in regularly (for example only confirming “movement”, not the absence of movement) Workplace platform tackles this through a decay feature, which allows to visualize occupancy/headcount on the live floor plans for longer than what the data really tells us.

Wat is "Weergeven door" op een plattegrond met live gegevens?
Schakel tussen verschillende Ruimte of Comfort gegevensweergaven die relevant zijn voor je vloer. Specifieke weergaven zijn alleen beschikbaar als er gegevens beschikbaar zijn.
Gebruiksweergave
Om gebruiksgegevens te verkrijgen, kan een sensor zoals VergeSense of Pointgrab geconfigureerd moet worden, of push gebruiksgegevens naar Workplace met behulp van ons Generic Endpoint, zie External Data Sources.
Afhankelijk van het geïnstalleerde sensortype en de modus waarop het is geconfigureerd, geeft de gebruiksweergave een waarde weer of alleen een indicatie van de bezetting:
1. Als er geen hoofdteller of verkeerssensor is geconfigureerd:
De gebruiksweergave toont dezelfde gegevens als View By Space Occupancy en aangeven of de locatie bezet is of niet (legenda "beschikbaar" vs "bezet")
2. Wanneer een hoofdmeetsensor is geconfigureerd: Het aantal personeelsleden wordt gevisualiseerd in de gebruiksweergave, verder worden dezelfde gegevens getoond als View By Space Occupancy (legenda "beschikbaar" vs "bezet")
3. Wanneer een verkeerssensor wordt geconfigureerd: het getal dat wordt weergegeven in de weergave Gebruik is het berekende verschil tussen de waarden voor verkeer IN en UIT. Dit getal geeft aan hoeveel mensen zich nog op de locatie bevinden.

4. Wanneer Indirect gebruik met bewegingssensoren is geconfigureerd*.: het berekende bezettingsgetal wordt gevisualiseerd in de weergave Gebruik, anders worden dezelfde gegevens getoond als View By Space Occupancy (legenda "beschikbaar" vs "bezet")

FAQ
Hoewel er (bezoekers)gegevens beschikbaar zijn voor een locatie, zie ik geen gegevens in de gebruiksweergave?
Als er niet regelmatig bezoekersgegevens binnenkomen (bijvoorbeeld alleen bevestiging "beweging", niet de afwezigheid of movement) Het platform Workplace pakt dit aan met een vervalfunctie, waarmee de bezetting/hoofdaantallen op de live plattegronden langer kunnen worden gevisualiseerd dan wat de gegevens ons werkelijk vertellen.

Also, if there is a headcount device configured for the same location as the footfall device: A headcount device has higher priority than a footfall device, so utilization is not calculated based on footfall. Remove the headcount device to get the data from the footfall device.
Is it possible to track utilization based on footfall data on multiple entries to a location ?
When different footfall sensors are installed at different entrances for the same location (multiple data streams arriving at 1 location in the Workplace platform), then footfall data (and derived utilization data) will be based on the sum and/or subtraction of the data from all footfall sensors.

Although it’s technically possible to link multiple headcount sensors to 1 location in Workplace, the headcount data saved to the location from one sensor will overwrite the headcount data from the other sensor. If multiple headcount sensors are required to cover a location, it’s best to look into the Stitching mechanism of the specific sensor to obtain 1 “data point” from the sensor platform to then link to 1 location in Workplace. |
SearchOok als er een hoofdopnameapparaat is geconfigureerd voor dezelfde locatie als het voetafnameapparaat: Een headcount apparaat heeft een hogere prioriteit dan een footfall apparaat, dus de bezetting wordt niet berekend op basis van footfall. Is het mogelijk om het gebruik te volgen op basis van bezoekersgegevens? bij meerdere vermeldingen op een locatie?
Als er verschillende voetgangssensoren zijn geïnstalleerd bij verschillende ingangen voor dezelfde locatie (meerdere gegevensstromen die aankomen op 1 locatie in het Workplace platform), dan worden de voetgangsgegevens (en afgeleide gebruiksgegevens) gebaseerd op de som en/of aftrekking van de gegevens van alle voetgangssensoren.

Hoewel het technisch mogelijk is om meerdere headcount sensoren te koppelen aan 1 locatie in Workplace, zullen de headcount gegevens die zijn opgeslagen op de locatie van de ene sensor de headcount gegevens van de andere sensor overschrijven. Als er meerdere headcount sensoren nodig zijn om een locatie te dekken, kun je het beste kijken naar het Stitching mechanisme van de specifieke sensor om 1 "datapunt" te verkrijgen van het sensor platform om vervolgens te koppelen aan 1 locatie in Workplace. |
