Locating colleagues was already available for the Workplace app, released in May 2022
New features:
Find coworkers’ desks or current location (via desk booking)
Search for coworkers to determine if they will be in the office before planning to come in
Enable employees to reserve desks near team members
Opt-in: Users can be found only when they themselves indicate they want to be found (default: opted-in).
Users can search for people without having to use a floorplan. You can, search based on name, date, time & location.
You can search for people present on a certain day in the future. This way you can better plan an office visit based on the presence of colleagues.
You can search for the presence of multiple colleagues at the same time to even better plan your next office visit.
Users can mark colleagues as favorites for finding them quickly.
