Use Security Settings to define the password complexity policy, force all users to change their password or define the privacy setting related to Find a Colleague.

How to access

Password settings

Password complexity is only relevant if users will log in with their Workplace user name and password.

It is not relevant if SSO is set up (see How to set up Workplace SSO)

Define the password complexity policy which will apply to all user accounts in this environment.

  • Minimal length

  • Prevent using personal information in the password (first name, last name, e-mail address)

  • History depth

  • Maximum password age (in days)

  • Mandatory character classes

    • Uppercase letter

    • Lowercase letter

    • Digit

    • Special Character

  • Force all users to change passwords: All users will be forced to reset their password the next time they try to use any Workplace touch point.

These instructions will be provided when the user changes his password in Workplace app and GO.

As a reminder,

  • as user account will be locked after 3 failed logins

  • through regular activity, a user account will remain active for 30 days. After 30 days, the user will be prompted to provide the login details again

Privacy settings

Define the Default setting of "Can colleagues find you?" for all users in this environment by using the toggle
