What does Device Control do?

Using device control, administrators can remotely control which features are available to end-users.

Define your own custom Workplace App theme: set accent colors and add a logo.
IMPROVE APP PERFORMANCE
Device control reduces the amount of data loaded, background threads running, etc. thus improving the performance of the app.
How to access Device Control
When you log in with SSO:
provide your e-mail address, which will prompt the SSO flow
If you have received specific Workplace Admin credentials
provide your e-mail address or Workplace specific username
enter your password
Upon login, you’ll be prompted to open Device Control for Kiosk application or for Workplace App.
Select “Workplace”
You can of course switch between both using the left-hand menu.
Quick tour
Device Control lets you control functionalities of the Workplace App.
Settings
Select specific users to preview configuration changes before these are rolled out to the entire organization.
When “Preview Configuration” is enabled, a verification workflow is started:
Make changes to configuration
Button “Preview” is available
Device Control will inform you that “The configuration is in preview mode”
The selected users can now verify the new behavior in Workplace App
Last step is to either Discard the changes or Save for everyone
