After reading this article, you’ll be able to:

  • Fluently navigate the Workplace interface.


What do I see?

  • Navigation menu: navigate through the different modules you have access to

    • Note: it is possible that you don’t have a navigation menu

  • Button bar: contains quick links. For example to create objects and view reports

  • Include/ dashboard: often used reports are added to the startBoard as includes. Multiple reports on a page will often be referred to as a dashboard.

Returning to your startBoard

From anywhere in Workplace, pressing the Workplace logo (top left corner) or the home button (diagonally below the Workplace logo) will redirect you back to your startBoard.

Collapsing the menu structure

  • Pressing the hamburger icon will collapse the menu structure, so that only the icons are shown.

  • When pressing the hamburger icon a second time the default view is reset. When you collapse the menu structure this will not be remembered for the next time you login.

  • Depending on the width-height ratio of your screen, the interface can automatically collapse the menu structure.

Using Workplace on your mobile device

  • When using Workplace on your mobile device the Adaptive User Interface (AUI) will automatically determine the optimal view.

  • Most likely, the navigation menu will be hidden and only the hambuger icon will be visible. You can press the hamburger icon to open the navigation menu.
