  • Log into Workplace using any device you own;

  • Tell the difference between a Production, Backup, and Test environment.

Where can I login?

Workplace is a cloud based application. You can log into Workplace with any :device that has an internet connection like a computer, laptop, tablet

,

and mobile phone

;
  • that has an internet connection and a browser;

  • we

    . We recommend using Chrome, Safari

    ,

    or Microsoft Edge.

    In order to login you need to know your:

    Did you know? The language of the login screen is determined by the language of your browser. After logging in, Workplace takes over and the language is determined by your user settings.

    Production, backup, and test environment

    With your login you can access three environmentdifferent environments: Production, Backup, and Test. Together we call these tree environments a server cluster. Technically speaking even more environments exist on a cluster, but this will not be discussed in this section. You can log into in to these environments via separate URL’s.

    The login name and password you have for the Production environment can also be used to log into in to Backup en and Test.

    Example

    Production

    Live environment in which you will do your work.

    clientreference.axxerion.com/axxerion/signin

    training.axxerion.com/axxerion/signin

    Backup

    Short term testing environment. Data is refreshed every night. Changes do not affect the production environment.

    axbk[clusternumber].axxerion.com/axxerion/signin,

    axbk01.axxerion.com/axxerion/signin 1

    Test

    Longterm testing environment. Data is refreshed every 6-8 weeks. Changes do not affect the production environment.

    axts[clusternumber].axxerion.com/axxerion/signin,

    axts01.axxerion.com/axxerion/signin 1

    1 These URL’s assume the environment is on server cluster 01. For an environments on cluster 05, the URL for backup and test would be respectively axbk05.axxerion.com/axxerion/signin/ and axts05.axxerion.com/axxerion/signin/.

    Info

    When logging into the backup or test environment an additional field ‘Client’ is visible on the login screen. You can leave this empty.

    If you user name is not unique on the server cluster you won’t be able to login. When this happens you can fill in the clientreference (see table above) in the ‘Client’ field

    Production

    • ‪Production is the live environment. In this environment, adjustments (of both data and functionality) can immediately be seen. Besides the production environment every user can enter the back-up and the test environment.

    Back-up

    • The back-up is a copy of the production Production environment of the previous day (both in data and functionality);.

    • The backBack-up environment is mostly used to test the effects of certain actions or small configuration changes without affecting the data of the production environment;.

    • The backBack-up environment is different from the replication server (this is the fourth server that each cluster has), which is always identical to the production Production environment.

    Test

    • The testTestenvironment is available to test new releases and is a copyof the production environment;.

    • The test Test environment can be used to test structurally and over a long period of time;.

    • The data and configuration from the Production server is copied to the Test environment preceding each release. This is done so that developers, consultants, and clients can test new functionalities and bug fixes with up to date data and the latest (client) configuration.

    On what server cluster is my environment?

    To be able to navigate to your Backup Back-up or Test environment you’ll need to know on what server cluster you need to log in. There are two ways to determine on what server cluster you are.

    1. Navigate to the Workplace login screen > behind the text ‘main’ there is a number. This is the number of the server cluster. For example ‘main10' refers to server cluster 10.

      Image Modified
    2. Request the cluster info via the URL. To do this: navigate to your login URL, for example training.axxerion.com/axxerion/signin> take of the ‘signin’ and add ‘__serverinfo__' (2x underscore before and 2x underscore after) > your URL will look something like this: training.axxerion.com/axxerion/__serverinfo__ > now press 'enter’
