Het gebruik van de ruimtecapaciteitssectie in Workplace Back-end https://studio.cobundu.com/ is two-foldtweeledig:

• Enable utilization thresholds that are shown on live floorplan in GO

Configuration

Configuratie

De configuratie van kamercapaciteiten wordt eenvoudig beheerd met een import/export excel feature functie (no UI edit available).

• For each room, a room capacity and capacity limit can be set (the number of people in the room)

  • There are 3 levels: “quiet”, “crowded”, “exceeds capacity”

• Room capacities are automatically populated with IWMS reservable room capacity* or sum of number of workplaces.
  There is a kind of cascade behind it:

1. Is Workplace Capacity filled in? Then Workplace value will be used

2. Is Workplace Capacity empty? Then Workplace will check if this location ID is linked to an IWMS Reservable Room and fill in Workplace Capacity with that IWMS value -> next time, step 1 will apply

3. Is Workplace Capacity empty and there is no IWMS reservable room? Then Workplace will check if this location ID is an IWMS Workplace. If this is the case, then Workplace Capacity will be set as value “1”.

So if you update IWMS on a Reservable Room, we suggest you empty the location-values in Workplace (for that location), so that it picks up the latest IWMS values.

• Voor elke kamer kan een kamercapaciteit en capaciteitslimiet worden ingesteld (het aantal mensen in de kamer)

  • Er zijn 3 niveaus: "rustig", "druk", "overschrijdt capaciteit".

• De zaalcapaciteiten worden automatisch ingevuld met de IWMS reserveerbare zaalcapaciteit* of de som van het aantal werkplekken.
  Er zit een soort cascade achter:

1. Is Workplace Capacity ingevuld? Dan wordt de Workplace-waarde gebruikt

2. Is de capaciteit van de werkplek leeg? Dan controleert Workplace of deze locatie ID is gekoppeld aan een IWMS reserveerbare ruimte en vult Workplace Capacity met die IWMS-waarde -> de volgende keer is stap 1 van toepassing

3. Is de capaciteit van Workplace leeg en is er geen IWMS-reserveerbare ruimte? Dan zal Workplace controleren of deze locatie ID een IWMS werkplek is. Als dit het geval is, dan wordt Workplace Capacity ingesteld op de waarde "1".

Dus als je IWMS bijwerkt voor een te reserveren ruimte, raden we je aan de locatiewaarden in Workplace (voor die locatie) leeg te maken, zodat deze de nieuwste IWMS-waarden oppikt.

• The maximum for the crowded utilization equals the room capacity by default

• If the utilization capacity exceeds the crowded max it means that the capacity is exceeded

• If no configuration is provided for quiet max, the rooms will show in case of utilization as crowded by default

• An Admin can overwrite the default values for room capacity, quiet max and crowded max Het maximum voor drukte is standaard gelijk aan de capaciteit van de kamer

• Capacity of a workplace is always 1 and that is per definition the maximum utilization, hence workplace capacities are not configurable.

• Only Capacity (quiet OR crowded) > 0  will trigger utilization analysis

• This will result in showing utilization for workplaces and rooms in terms of quiet, crowded or exceeds capacity on live floorplan in GO

• Users can assign a color to the utilization thresholds Capaciteitsconfiguratie

• Dit resulteert in een weergave van het gebruik van werkplekken en kamers in termen van rustig, druk of overcapaciteit op de live plattegrond in GO.

• Gebruikers kunnen een kleur toewijzen aan de gebruiksdrempels in Live floorplan settings

* IWMS

-reserveerbare ruimtecapaciteit ingevuld, maar gebruik niet in scope

In Space monitor, the assumption is that if Room Capacity is filled in and sensors are installed, utilization is being measured. Typically the dashboard analyses occupancy + utilization (either direct utilization using a headcount sensor or indirect utilization based on PIR sensors).

Taking all of the above into account: In case utilization is out of scope, room capacities should not be filled in, since capacities relate to utilization in Space Monitor.

Yet in some cases, when Reservations functionality is enabled, and sensors are installed that may or may not be relevant for the reservable rooms (for example when you’re only tracking occupancy using PIR sensors), room capacities might be filled in, but not for measuring utilization.

The trick is that capacities can be defined on 2 levels: in the IWMS and in Studio. So without reservations in IWMS, you can have utilization in Space Monitor if you configure room capacities in Studio.

And the other way around, if you have Reservations configured in IWMS, but are not using utilization in Space Monitor, you should reset the room capacities to 0 in Studio. This can be done via file import.

Following the file import with 0 capacities, Space Monitor should only show occupancy. On top of that, you can hide the Utilization sheet in Space Monitor.

SearchDe aanname is dat als de ruimtecapaciteit is ingevuld en er sensoren zijn geïnstalleerd, gebruik wordt gemeten. Meestal analyseert het dashboard bezetting + bezettingsgraad (ofwel directe bezetting met behulp van een headcount sensor of indirecte bezetting op basis van PIR-sensoren).

Maar in sommige gevallen, als de reserveringsfunctionaliteit is ingeschakeld en er sensoren zijn geïnstalleerd die al dan niet relevant zijn voor de reserveerbare kamers (bijvoorbeeld als u alleen de bezetting bijhoudt met behulp van PIR-sensoren), kunnen kamercapaciteiten worden ingevuld, maar niet voor het meten van het gebruik.

De truc is dat capaciteiten op 2 niveaus kunnen worden gedefinieerd: in het IWMS en in Studio. Dus zonder reserveringen in IWMS kunt u gebruik hebben in Space Monitor als u ruimtecapaciteiten configureert in Studio.

En andersom, als u Reserveringen hebt geconfigureerd in IWMS, maar geen gebruik maakt van het gebruik in Space Monitor, moet u de kamercapaciteiten terugzetten naar 0 in Studio. Dit kan worden gedaan via bestandsimport.
