Hardware Requirements

Where the kiosk will be installed, 2-3 power plugs are required

• 22” 4G kiosk needs 2 power sockets

• 32” and 55” kiosks come with a separate backpack, so when using additional 4G router: the screen, the PC and the router are powered independently over DC power, so foresee 3 power sockets.

Unboxing

The Teltonika RUT241 LTE Router package contains

Voorbereiding

Hoewel de apparaten vooraf geconfigureerd zijn en plug-and-play , it’s a good idea to check connectivity beforehand:

   1. Attach both MAIN and AUX mobile antennas to the connectors labelled “Mobile”

   2. Attach the WIFI antenna to the connector labelled “WIFI”  

2. Tape the SIM ID card to the RUT274, with the ID visible. This will facilitate any troubleshooting in the future

3. Plug in the power cable

4. The 5 Mobile Signal Strength Indication LEDs on the side of the RUT241 will light up

5. Plug in the UTP cable from RUT241 (LAN out) to your computer

6. Disable wifi on your computer

7. You should be able to open any web page, while connected with the RUT241

Connecting the router with the kiosk

Follow steps depending on the kiosk you’re about to install:

• ELO 22” floor kiosk

• ELO wall kiosk (32”-55”)

Perform following steps while 22” floor kiosk pole is open:

Voer de volgende stappen uit terwijl de 22" kioskpaal open is:

1. Plaats de RUT241 router in het onderste deel van de paal, de antennes moeten recht staan, niet gebogen

2. Stroom

   1. Trek vanuit de 22" paal aan de stroomkabel zodat deze de paal dicht bij de grond verlaat.

   2. Sluit de voedingskabel aan op een voedingsstekker

   3. Sluit de voedingskabel aan op de RUT241 router

3. De 5 LED's voor mobiele signaalsterkte aan de zijkant van de RUT241 lichten op

4. UTP/LAN/ethernet

5. Power

   1. Plug in the power cable to a power socket

   2. Connect the power cable to the RUT241 router

6. The 5 Mobile Signal Strength Indication LEDs on the side of the RUT241 will light up

   1. Connect the ethernet cable to the Sluit de ethernetkabel aan op de RUT241 router (LAN out)

   2. From within the 22” pole, pull the power cable so it leaves the pole through the top round hole

   3. Plug in the ethernet cable to the 22” screen (next to the ELO screen power)

7. Continue to install the 22” ELO display and close the pole with the RUT241 inside

ELO wall kiosk (32”-55”)

1. 1. Trek vanuit de 22" paal aan de stroomkabel zodat deze de paal verlaat via het bovenste ronde gat.

   2. Sluit de ethernetkabel aan op het 22" scherm (naast de voeding van het ELO-scherm)

2. Ga verder met het installeren van het 22" ELO-display en sluit de paal met de RUT241 erin

ELO wandkiosk (32"-55")

1. Stroom

   1. Steek het netsnoer in een stopcontact

   2. Sluit de voedingskabel aan op de RUT241 router

2. De 5 LED's voor mobiele signaalsterkte aan de zijkant van de RUT241 lichten op

3. UTP/LAN/ethernet

   1. Connect the ethernet cable to the Sluit de ethernetkabel aan op de RUT241 router (LAN out)

   2. Plug in the ethernet cable to the ELO screen

   Place the RUT241 behind the wall kiosk and continue to install the QBIC backpack on the ELO wall kiosk as mentioned
