Ruimtes geeft u een hiërarchische weergave van de locatiestamgegevens die zijn gedefinieerd in het onderliggende IWMS en stelt u in staat om snel de gezondheid van uw apparaten te controleren (KPI Health-kaarten worden uitgelegd in How to monitor Sensor Health).

Location Hierarchy & Overview

Location browser: search for location ID or reference

‪Breadcrumbs show location hierarchy (You can go back through breadcrumbs, location tree or browser)
Location hierarchy has a color icon showing the worst status of sensors in that location (if 1 sensor on the floor is offline, and 100 are connecting to the Workplace platform: the icon next to the floor will be red)

‪Location overview shows how many/which locations are underlying, how many devices are underlying and what is their connection status (the sum is visible in KPI health cards).

Location Scope & Filter

Define location scope: ‪Depending on the use case, for example a phased roll-out with a limited scope, it might be desirable to only show a limited set of locations/offices/sites in the end-user touch points GO and Workplace app.

‪If the linked IWMS environment already has a vast location hierarchy defined in the system, the same might be inherited by Workplace IoT Platform (unless configured in the External App, defining which assets will be synced) and all the touch points, possibly making it unnecessarily complicated for the users.

‪The feature “Define location scope”, in which you can enable/disable locations in Studio, allows an administrator to limit the accessible location scope across all Workplace touch points.

• Location:

  • In Studio, the location will not be visible in “Spaces”, unless “Show Disabled” is selected in the filter

  • In Studio, the location will be available in “Floorplan Views”, allowing the administrator to upload and configure floorplans

  • In Dashboards, the location will be available

  • On end-user touch points Go, Workplace App and Kiosk App, the location will not be visible (or appear in search results)

If sensors or devices are set up for this location:

Device Health Notification reports on the sensor health status (see Set up Notifications for Sensor Health )

Broodkruimels locatiehiërarchie tonen (je kunt teruggaan via broodkruimels, locatieboom of browser)
Locatie hiërarchie heeft een kleurenpictogram dat de slechtste status van de sensoren op die locatie weergeeft (als 1 sensor op de vloer offline is en er 100 verbinding maken met het Workplace-platform: is het pictogram naast de vloer rood)

Overzicht locatie laat zien hoeveel/welke locaties onderliggend zijn, hoeveel apparaten onderliggend zijn en wat hun verbindingsstatus is (de som is zichtbaar in de KPI-gezondheidskaarten).

Locatie Reikwijdte & Filter

Locatiebereik definiëren: Afhankelijk van de use case, bijvoorbeeld een gefaseerde uitrol met een beperkte reikwijdte, kan het wenselijk zijn om slechts een beperkte set locaties/kantoren/sites te tonen in de eindgebruiker touchpoints GO en Workplace app.

Als de gekoppelde IWMS-omgeving al een uitgebreide locatiehiërarchie heeft gedefinieerd in het systeem, kan hetzelfde worden overgenomen door het Workplace IoT Platform (tenzij geconfigureerd in de Externe App, waarin wordt gedefinieerd welke bedrijfsmiddelen worden gesynchroniseerd) en alle contactpunten, waardoor het mogelijk onnodig ingewikkeld wordt voor de gebruikers.

Met de functie "Locatiebereik definiëren", waarmee je locaties in Studio kunt in- en uitschakelen, kan een beheerder het toegankelijke locatiebereik voor alle Workplace-aanraakpunten beperken.

• Locatie:

  • In Studio is de locatie niet zichtbaar in "Ruimtes", tenzij "Uitgeschakeld weergeven" is geselecteerd in het filter

  • In Studio is de locatie beschikbaar in "Floorplan Views", zodat de beheerder plattegronden kan uploaden en configureren.

  • In Dashboards is de locatie beschikbaar

  • Op eindgebruiker touchpoints Go, Workplace App en Kiosk App zal de locatie niet zichtbaar zijn (of verschijnen in zoekresultaten)

• Als er sensoren of apparaten zijn ingesteld voor deze locatie:

  • Apparaatgezondheid is zichtbaar in Workplace back-end Studio

  • De apparaatgezondheidsmelding rapporteert over de gezondheidsstatus van de sensor (zie Set up Notifications for Sensor Health )

    • (Als u sensoren hebt waarover u geen informatie over de gezondheidsstatus wilt, moet u de sensor uitschakelen. Dan worden ze niet beschouwd als "actieve sensoren", zie https://spacewell.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/60653569/Configure+devices+add+remove+import+export#Delete/Disable-Device)
