• 32” and 55” kiosks come with a separate backpack, so when using additional 4G router: the screen, the PC and the router are powered independently over DC power, so foresee 3 power sockets.

Configuration

The devices come pre-configured, so no configuration needed.

Preparation

Although the devices are pre-configured and should be plug-and-play, it’s a good idea to check connectivity beforehand:

1. Screw the 3 antennas on the RUT241 router.

   1. Attach both MAIN and AUX mobile antennas to the connectors labelled “Mobile”

   2. Attach the WIFI antenna to the connector labelled “WIFI”  

2. Tape the SIM ID card to the RUT274, with the ID visible. This will facilitate any troubleshooting in the future

3. Plug in the power cable

4. The 5 Mobile Signal Strength Indication LEDs on the side of the RUT241 will light up

5. Plug in the UTP cable from RUT241 (LAN out) to your computer

6. Disable wifi on your computer

7. You should be able to open any web page, while connected with the RUT241

Konfiguration

Vorbereitung

Connecting the router with the kiosk

Follow steps depending on the kiosk you’re about to install:

• ELO 22” floor kiosk

• ELO wall kiosk (32”-55”)

ELO 22” floor kiosk

Perform following steps while 22” floor kiosk pole is open:

1. Place the RUT241 router in the bottom part of the pole, the antennas will need to be straight, not bent

2. Power

   1. From within the 22” pole, pull the power cable so it leaves the pole close to the ground

   2. Plug in the power cable to a power plug

   3. Connect the power cable to the RUT241 router

3. The 5 Mobile Signal Strength Indication LEDs on the side of the RUT241 will light up

4. UTP/LAN/ethernet

   1. Connect the ethernet cable to the RUT241 router (LAN out)

   2. From within the 22” pole, pull the power cable so it leaves the pole through the top round hole

   3. Plug in the ethernet cable to the 22” screen (next to the ELO screen power)

5. Continue to install the 22” ELO display and close the pole with the RUT241 inside

ELO wall kiosk (32”-55”)

Verbinden des Routers mit dem Kiosk

   3. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an den RUT241-Router an.

3. Die 5 LEDs zur Anzeige der Mobilfunksignalstärke an der Seite des RUT241 leuchten auf

4. UTP/LAN/Ethernet

   1. Verbinden Sie das Ethernetkabel mit dem RUT241 Router (LAN out)

   2. Ziehen Sie das Stromkabel aus dem Inneren des 22-Zoll-Mastes, so dass es den Mast durch das obere runde Loch verlässt.

   3. Schließen Sie das Ethernet-Kabel an den 22"-Bildschirm an (neben dem ELO-Bildschirmstromanschluss)

5. Fahren Sie mit der Installation des 22"-ELO-Displays fort und schließen Sie den Mast mit dem RUT241 darin.

ELO-Wandkiosk (32"-55")

1. Strom

   1. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an eine Steckdose an.

   2. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an den RUT241-Router an.

2. Die 5 LEDs zur Anzeige der Mobilfunksignalstärke an der Seite des RUT241 leuchten auf

3. UTP/LAN/Ethernet

   1. Verbinden Sie das Ethernetkabel mit dem RUT241 Router (LAN out)

   2. Schließen Sie das Ethernet-Kabel an den ELO-Bildschirm an.
