A system user can be designated as a 'partner user' by the systems administrator through a simple Yes/No selection field on the system users page. Partner users are intended for use by implementation consultants from Spacewell or by implementation partners who assist in setting up customer environments.

Password

Partner users can log in with a default generic password. The generic password that is used for the customer's environment is determined by the client's 'Partner client layer'.

Implementation consultants can access partner user passwords through the AFS environment. By navigating to the startboard and clicking on the 'Client passwords' button, consultants are directed to an overview containing all passwords intended for use by Spacewell and partner implementation consultants.

In the event of organizational changes, such as personnel departures, Customer Support is responsible for generating a new partner password for the relevant organization. This ensures ongoing security and access control within the application.

System administrator's username convention

When setting up a new environment, the implementation consultant generates an admin system user for each individual consultant involved in the client's implementation process. The username for each system user follows a default convention:

adm<client reference><users initials>

For instance, if John Doe is the administrator working at Spacewell, his default username would be 'admspacewelljd'.

You can deviate from this default username (by changing the username via the ‘change username / password’ functionality) if it leads to unwanted results (e.g. curse words) or if another admin user already has the same initials. But it is advised to stay close to this convention.
