What is the difference between the concepts Occupancy and Utilization?
Both concepts are based on occupancy sensor data.
occupancy (eg 50% occupied in 8h time) vs utilization (2 out of 4 chairs)
Example 1. If a meeting went on for 8 hours, and 2 people were in a meeting room with capacity 10, Occupancy will be seen as 100% for the whole 8 hours, but Utilization was only 20%.
Example 2. A room can be occupied 50% of a day (4 out of 8h) but when only 2 chairs are used out of 4, it is utilized 50% against 50% occupation. The real performance is then only 25% (half a day used for half the capacity).

Direct Utilization & Occupancy
Direct Utilization means the sensor will send information on “the number of people counted in a certain area” (headcount number) to the Workplace platform.
Headcount number is visualized in the Utilization Live Floorplan and is reported on in Space monitor Dashboard. Occupancy Live Floorplan will indicate if the location is occupied or not.

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen den Begriffen "Belegung" und "Auslastung"?
Beide Konzepte beruhen auf den Daten von Anwesenheitssensoren.
Belegung (z.B. 50% in 8 Stunden) vs. Auslastung (2 von 4 Stühlen)
Beispiel 1. Wenn eine Besprechung 8 Stunden dauerte und 2 Personen in einem Besprechungsraum mit einer Kapazität von 10 Personen anwesend waren, wird die Belegung für die gesamten 8 Stunden mit 100% angegeben, aber die Auslastung betrug nur 20%.
Beispiel 2. Ein Raum kann zu 50 % eines Tages (4 von 8 Stunden) belegt sein, aber wenn nur 2 von 4 Stühlen benutzt werden, ist er zu 50 % ausgelastet. Die tatsächliche Leistung beträgt dann nur 25 % (ein halber Tag wird für die Hälfte der Kapazität genutzt).

Direkte Nutzung & Belegung
Direkt Auslastung bedeutet, dass der Sensor Informationen über die Anzahl der in einem bestimmten Bereich gezählten Personen" (Headcount) an die Workplace-Plattform sendet.
Die Anzahl der Mitarbeiter wird im Utilization Live Floorplan visualisiert und in Space monitor Dashboard. Belegung Live Floorplan zeigt an, ob der Standort belegt ist oder nicht.

Indirekt Nutzung bedeutet, dass der Sensor z. B.
