Sensoren implementeren

Deploy sensors in VergeSense

  5. Select an area location (remember that a meeting room might need 2 sensors to cover the whole count area)

  6. In the “Enter Sensor ID” field, enter the number that is provided on the sticker on the VergeSense sensor. Serial numbers should be inserted using the following format: XXX-XXX.

  7. Click Confirm and verify that the sensor’s connection status changes to green / the “linked” symbol.

Commissioning

Breng uw Spacewell-implementatieconsultant op de hoogte wanneer alle sensoren zijn geïnstalleerd. Hij zal VergeSense informeren via de Notes-functie op de Inform your Spacewell Implementation Consultant when all sensors are installed. They will inform VergeSense through the Notes function on the /wiki/spaces/KB/pages/492301.

VergeSense controleert de installatie en bevestigt/commandeert de sensor of geeft feedback in het gedeelte "opmerkingen" van elke sensor.

Als ze een notitie achterlaten, herpositioneer of herinstalleer de sensor dan om er zeker van te zijn dat de sensor correct geplaatst is.

Note

Pas nadat de inbedrijfstelling (per locatie) is voltooid (zie VergeSense sensor installation), worden gegevens naar het Workplace Platform gestuurd.

Sensoren inzetten in uw Workplace huurder

Voorwaarde

Zodra uw VergeSense-omgeving beschikbaar is, zal uw Spacewell Implementation Consultant een ticket hebben geboekt voor het Workplace Dev-team om uw VergeSense-omgeving te koppelen met Workplace via API, zoals beschreven will check the installation and will either confirm/commission the sensor, or will provide a feedback in the “notes” section of each sensor.

If they leave a note, reposition or re-install the sensor to make sure the sensor is positioned correctly.

Note

Only after commissioning (per location) is finalized (see VergeSense sensor installation), data will be send to the Workplace Platform.

Deploy sensors in your Workplace tenant 

Prerequisite

As soon as your VergeSense environment is available, your Spacewell Implementation Consultant will have booked a ticket for the Workplace Dev team to link your VergeSense environment with Workplace through API, as described in /wiki/spaces/KB/pages/127533075.

Add New Device in Workplace back-end Studio

Selecteer Type apparaat "Vergesense ". Hierdoor wordt het kanaal van het apparaat automatisch gekoppeld.

Manually add device through location > devices > new: location is filled in.

‪Select Device Type "Vergesense ". This will automatically link the device channel.

Select the detection area (that has been set up in VergeSense Platform) from the Device ID drop down list. (see https://spacewell.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/492301/VergeSense+Platform+SW+internal#Verify-location-master-data als u de VergeSense-gebiedsinformatie niet herkent)

Give a meaningful name (Make sure Room Name and Space Ref. ID are meaningful to you in the VergeSense Platform, so that in Studio you can use the simple search function).

Select a Location from the location tree if this is already known (automatically filled in if location was selected before adding new device).

Linked Locations is not relevant for this kind of sensor.

Selecting the correct Device Type "Vergesense" should automatically set the Type and the Channel to “Headcount” (see Advanced).

Sometimes

  • multiple sensors are used to cover 1 count area

  • 1 sensor is used to cover multiple count areas

Multiple sensors to cover 1 count area (for example: meeting room too large, needs 2 or more sensors)

1. In VergeSense, multiple sensors might need to be installed to track 1 location (eg if the detection area does not cover the whole room)

2. With overlapping detection areas, VergeSense will stitch these devices together in the platform, to make sure that the combined detection areas of the multiple sensors match the required count area.
