Hardware Requirements
Where the kiosk will be installed, 2-3 power plugs are required
22” 4G kiosk needs 2 power sockets
32” and 55” kiosks come with a separate backpack, so when using additional 4G router: the screen, the PC and the router are powered independently over DC power, so foresee 3 power sockets.

RUT241 router
Power cable
UTP cable 1.5m
3 antennas: 2 mobile, 1 wifi
SIM ID card (front: white, back contains SIM ID)
SIM KIT (not needed)

Configuration
The devices come pre-configured, so no configuration needed.
Preparation
Although the devices are pre-configured and should be plug-and-play, it’s a good idea to check connectivity beforehand:
Screw the 3 antennas on the RUT241 router.
Attach both MAIN and AUX mobile antennas to the connectors labelled “Mobile”
Attach the WIFI antenna to the connector labelled “WIFI”
Tape the SIM ID card to the RUT241, with the ID visible. This will facilitate any troubleshooting in the future
Plug in the power cable
The 5 Mobile Signal Strength Indication LEDs on the side of the RUT241 will light up
Plug in the UTP cable from RUT241 (LAN out) to your computer
Disable WIFI on your computer
You should be able to open any web page, while connected with the RUT241
There is no need to remove the SIM card from the router
Connecting the router with the kiosk
Follow steps depending on the kiosk you’re about to install:
ELO 22” floor kiosk
ELO wall kiosk (32”-55”)
ELO 22” floor kiosk
Perform following steps while 22” floor kiosk pole is open:
Place the RUT241 router in the bottom part of the pole, the antennas will need to be straight, not bent
Power
From within the 22” pole, pull the power cable so it leaves the pole close to the ground
Plug in the power cable to a power plug
Connect the power cable to the RUT241 router
The 5 Mobile Signal Strength Indication LEDs on the side of the RUT241 will light up
UTP/LAN/ethernet
Connect the ethernet cable to the RUT241 router (LAN out)
From within the 22” pole, pull the power cable so it leaves the pole through the top round hole
Plug in the ethernet cable to the 22” screen (next to the ELO screen power)
Continue to install the 22” ELO display and close the pole with the RUT241 inside
Write down which SIM ID is placed in which RUT241 ID or installation location and communicate this information to your Spacewell consultant.

Power
Plug in the power cable to a power socket
Connect the power cable to the RUT241 router
The 5 Mobile Signal Strength Indication LEDs on the side of the RUT241 will light up
UTP/LAN/ethernet
Connect the ethernet cable to the RUT241 router (LAN out)
Plug in the ethernet cable to the ELO screen
Place the RUT241 behind the wall kiosk and continue to install the QBIC backpack on the ELO wall kiosk as mentioned in Kiosk Hardware Installation | Connecting the backpack with the screen
