EXP - SSO - Maximum authentication lifetime

EXP - SSO - Maximum authentication lifetime

  • As an administrator

  • I want to set the maximum authentication lifetime

= The time since the last actual authentication on the SSO login page, providing your login and password

  • So that I can control how long authentication sessions remain valid and ensure compliance with security policies

If the authentication lifetime expired, the user will not be able to login anymore.

For example with “Max authentication life time: 4 months”: if the user tries to login, but last login was more than 6 months ago, the user is denied access to Workplace

Benefits

  • By limiting the duration of authentication sessions, the risk of unauthorized access is reduced

  • This functionality ensures that only recent and valid authentication sessions are allowed, enhancing security and compliance.
