MGT - Improved Reservation Navigation with Search-Optimized Defaults

The "Reservations" navigation menu now prioritizes search functionality, offering more control over the default view. Users can choose to see their future reservations, today's reservations, or no reservations upon opening the search screen.

  • Previous Behavior: The "Reservations" navigation menu defaulted to displaying all reservations for the current day, which could be overwhelming for organizations with 1000+ daily bookings

  • Improved Functionality: A new setting (Module settings -> Reservations tab -> 'Initially show reservations in search page') empowers users to define the default behavior:

    • Reservations taking place today (default): Maintains the original behavior for users who prefer this view.

    • My future reservations: Ideal for users who primarily manage their upcoming bookings.

    • No reservations: Offers a clean slate for users who want to initiate searches immediately.
