HW - NEW Xovis sensor: Xovis Wi-Fi

A new addition to the XOVIS catalogue allows to track footfall without LAN (ethernet) connectivity

As a Facility Manager
I want to have the flexibility to deploy footfall tracking devices in various locations
So that I can gather data from different areas without being constrained by the availability of LAN (ethernet) infrastructure

Still needs POE (power over ethernet) for power

Benefits

Cost-Efficiency: In some cases, using an existing WiFi network can reduce infrastructure costs compared to installing new LAN (ethernet) cabling
Security: IT might require all IoT devices to connect to the same Wi-Fi network
