After reading this article, you’ll be able to:
install motion sensor using the holder
A sensor holder was developed to answer a couple of questions related to motion sensor installation:
how to ensure that the sensors do not easily get knocked off or fall down?
how to allow easy maintenance of the sensors (for example battery replacement)
how to allow easy sensor removal or replacement?
The holders are designed to be mounted in 4 ways: on the wall, straight and 45 degrees both ways. This makes it possible to mount them on flat surfaces.
The sensor then clips in smoothly but firmly.
Prerequisites
Required:
1 holder per sensor
screwdriver
tape or 1 screw per holder/sensor: Use a small screw and make sure that the head fits, so it is not higher than the plastic
Make sure that the screw is the right length, so it doesn’t go through the tabletop. The tabletop may vary in thickness.
